TeamOnThree's free team websites allow coaches to invite their players, parents, assistant coaches, and other team members to join their free sports team website. By joining
your team website, users will be able to view a coach's sports team calendar, team playbook, and more!
There are multiple ways people can join your team website. Three of these ways are shown below.
# 1 - Send an invitation to a user to join your team website:
From: The person who created the sports team website
- Sign up for TeamOnThree.
- Once you have created a sports team website, login to your TeamOnThree account.
- On the Home page under My Team Websites select the View link to the right of the sports team in which you want to invite team members to.
- In the menu at the top of the page, click Team Management and select the Invite option.
- Follow the invite wizard to send an email to your players, parents, and other team members.
New Member
Person who receives the invitation and sign up for TeamOnThree.
- When the user receives the email, a link will be presented inside it to join TeamOnThree along with an invite code.
- Click the invite link and a browser window will be opened to the TeamOnThree sign up page.
- Create a TeamOnThree account.
- Once you are logged in your will be on the account Home page.
- Click the Join Team button at the bottom of the main body of the page.
- Click the bullet for I have a join code.
- Enter your join code into the text box and click Join.
- A team join request will now be sent to the team website administrator for their approval.
Website creator (Coach)
Approving join requests for other TeamOnThree members.
- Log into TeamOnThree.
- On the Home page under My Team Websites select the View action to the right of the sports team in which you woud like to approve the user to join your team website.
- In the main body of the page under My Team Requests click Approve next to the invitation to join your sports team website.
- The new user is now joined to the team website.
# 2 - Join from a sports team website.
New Member, doesn't have TeamOnThree account
- Sign up for TeamOnThree.
- If you know the URL of the team website (ex. http://www.teamonthree.com/someteam ) log into your TeamOnThree account and navigate to the sports team website.
- If you do not know the URL of the team website click Search in the menu and find your sports team.
- Once you are viewing the team website, click Join Team at the top of the page.
- Click Yes, Send Request
- A request will be sent to the website's creator (admin) for approval. Once the request is approved, you will be joined to the team.
Website creator (Coach)
Person who approves a join request
- Log into TeamOnThree.
- On the Home page under My Team Websites select the View link to the right of the sports team in which you woud like to approve the user who requested to join your team website.
- In the main body of the page under My Team Requests, click Approve next to the request to join your sports team website.
- The new user will now be joined to your sports team website.
#3 - Tell users to sign up for TeamOnThree and give (voice, email, paper) them the join code.
New Member
- Sign up for TeamOnThree.
- Click the Join Team button.
- Enter your join code into the text box and click Join.
- A team join request will now be sent to the team website administrator for approval.
