Coach Ingram played Collegiate Baseball at Arizona State University where he pitched for the Sun Devils in the College World Series. Linty led the nation in wins, was the PAC-10 Player of the year, an All American in 1988, and was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 12th round of the 1988 Major League draft. Coach Ingram’s professional career was with the Detroit Tigers and the San Diego Padres organizations. Coach Ingram has also coached at the college level as the infield and pitching coach for the LeTourneau University Yellowjackets.
He has been a coach and the Vice President with the Dallas Tigers Select Baseball Organization from 2000 until 2011, before becoming a partner in the Academy Select Organization. His 2007 graduateteam is the repeat winner (2004 & 2005) of the AABC World Series, going undefeated on both trips along with a 3rd place finish at the 2007 AABC- Connie Mack World Series in Farmington New Mexico. This team has maintained a high degree of roster continuity over the years. Coach Ingram was also the pitching instructor and Coach for 7 years, for the Rangers 1st round selection in the 2007 Major League Draft, he also has two other first round picks that he has had a hand in developing along with several Division 1 college players and all other levels of college baseball. Coach Ingram is a pitching and fielding instructor giving private instruction to baseball players of all ages and levels of play. Coach Ingram is well known in the southwest United States and is widely considered to be one of the very best pitching instructors available. He knows the game of baseball and knows how to teach and motivate his team.
