General Information
TeamOnThree is a tool for competitive sports teams. By creating an account, you can build a team website, manage your practice plans online, design a playbook, and send text messages to your players. All of these features revolve around saving you time, energy, and money.
TeamOnThree is a free service to all coaches, players, and parents. Create an account to get started.

What if I have questions?
If you have questions, sign into your account and click on the Feedback link at the top of the page. Submit your questions and we'll do our best to get you an answer in a timely manner.
Alternatively, you can click the Contact Us link at the bottom of each page. Fill in each field and submit your request.

Getting Started
You'll need to create an account to take advantage of all our website has to offer. Click the Create an Account button in the upper right-hand corner of the homepage to get started.

If you are a head coach or team administrator, you can create a team and have other people join it. You will be the admin for your team website, and you will have the ability to edit it at any time. In addition, you'll be able to create practice plans, plays, edit your team calendar, send text messages, and manage your team's statistics. This step is optional.

If you are an assistant coach, player, parent, or other team member, you can join a sports team. There are two ways to join a team - (1) use a join code, or (2) click the join team link on a team website. This step is optional.

If you decide to create a team, take some time to design a play, fill out your team calendar, or create a practice plan. We'll track your progress and help you each step of the way.
If you joined a team, you can view your coach's practice schedule, upload pictures or videos to your team website, or search for another team in your area.

Joining a Team
There are two ways to join a team. You can use a join code or send the coach a join request from a team website.
|
When you send an invite to someone to have them join TeamOnThree, we include a join code in the invite email. This allows the person to quickly join your team right after they create an account. It is the quickest way to join a team.

How do I send a join request?
You can request to join a team from a coach's team website. Click the Join Team link at the top of the team website. Please note that you need to create a TeamOnThree account (or sign into your account) before you can join a team. This step is required.

Do coaches approve join requests?
Yes, if someone requests to join your team, you have the ability to approve or deny the join request. This gives you an added layer of security over your account.

Team Website
Who can edit my team website?
If you create a team website, you are the only one who can edit it unless you make someone else an admin. If someone joins your team, you can give them admin privileges.

How do I give a user admin priviledges?
To give some who joins your team admin privileges:
1.) Sign into your account.
2.) Click the View link next to your team.
3.) Click the Edit link to modify your team website.
4.) Click the Admin Privileges option.
5.) Select the users who you want to make admins.

Can admin privileges be removed?
Yes, if someone joins your team and you give them admin privileges, you can remove these privileges at any time.
Visit the My Accounts section of the website to give or take away admin privileges.

How many times has my team website been viewed?
We keep track of the number of times your team website is viewed by other people. To see this statistic, sign into your account and click the view link next to your team. Your Team Home page shows your website's total page views.

Playbook
You need to create a TeamOnThree account before you can design a play. If you already have an account, sign in and follow these instructions:
1.) Click on the Team Management menu option and select Playbook.
2.) Create a folder to save your play in.
3.) Click the Open link next to your folder and click the Add Play button on the next page.
4.) Design your new play and click on the View Instructions link if necessary. It is in the upper left-hand corner of the page.

Yes, you can rename a play. Open the folder that your play is saved in and click the Rename link next to it.

Are there instructions for creating a play?
Yes, we provide more detailed instructions on designing a play on the Create Play page. To view these instructions, click the blue View Instructions link in the upper left-hand corner of the page.

What sports are supported?
Currently, you can design plays for the following sports - basketball, football, soccer, volleyball, and tennis.
We are in the process of adding support for other sports including baseball and softball. Once available, we'll post information on the Blog page.

Statistics
How do I add statistics for my team?
First, you need to be the Owner (Creator) or a team, and second, yYou need to add a game to your team calendar before you can enter your team statistics. To add a game, click the Team Management menu option at the top of the page and select Calendar. Then, click the Add Game link.

How do I view my team's season totals?
Once you enter your team's statistics for one or more games, we will calculate your season totals for you. To view your season totals, follow these instructions:
1.) Sign into your account and click the View link next to your team.
2.) Click the Team Management menu option at the top of the page and select Statistics.
3.) Click the blue Season Totals link on the page.

What happens if I delete a game?
If you delete a game, all of the statistics associated with that game will be lost. Please keep this in mind before you remove a game from your team calendar.

Text Messaging
Why can't I sent text messages to certain players?
Each person who creates a TeamOnThree account can specify whether they want their coach to send them text messages or not. If a user opts out, you will not be able to send them a text message using TeamOnThree.
To change your text messaging setting, click the Enable Text Messaging link on your Account Summary page. You can also change these settings from the My Account page.

My text messaging are not going through?
If you notice that your text messages are not being sent, please double check the cell phone number you are sending the message to. If you validate that the user's cell phone number is correct, contact us about the problem. We'll respond to your issue as soon as we can.

Common Questions
Can my assistants join my team?
Yes, assistant coaches, parent, players, and other people associated with your sports program can join your team. You can send them an invitation from your Team Home page. Just make sure that you remind them to create their own TeamOnThree account. A user cannot join a team unless they have an account.

What sports are supported?
We provide support for the following sports: baseball, basketball, cross country, field hockey, football, golf, hockey, lacrosse, rugby, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track and field, volleyball, and wresting.
