Coach's Philosophy
Our football program exists for our players. As coaches, we are responsible for preparing each individual to become the best football player he can be. We feel that football is a microcosm of life. The most successful people in life exhibit discipline, a strong work ethic, loyalty and the ability to work as a team. We demand that our athletes exhibit these characteristics on and off the field. We believe that values gained from sports can be obtained by being a member, whatever the role the individual plays on the team. Each member of the team may contribute to the team in different ways, and all contributions are important to the success of the team.
The ultimate purpose of our program is to have each student/athlete graduate with a superior education and a feeling that his four years at Grady, and in our football program, have been the best time of his life. In addition to athletic ability, we strive for the development of the total individual; academically, mentally, physically and emotionally.
